In collaboration with Tourism Selangor, we are inviting Mr Raman Bahtuin, a retired Semai gentleman, to give visitors a taste of the popular Jungle School. You will learn how to weave a shelter using bertam leaves, use a blowpipe, and solve several bamboo puzzles.

Learn Orang Asli traditions with Mr RamanDuring the 2 hour programme, our local expert Mr. Raman will give an introduction about the Semai tribe that reside in Gombak. You will also learn how to build a day-shelter using ‘bertam’ leaves and several jungle surviving secrets. Apart from that, you get to test yourself at a blowpipe competition and a puzzle solving game known as ‘Jah re Noi’.

Take RapidKL bus number 63 or 338 from Kuala Lumpur and stop at the bus station near Maybank building in Shah Alam city centre. From here, take a taxi to the park. Another way is to take the KTM Komuter train and alight at Shah Alam Station. From here, take a taxi and you will reach the park in approximately 20 minutes time.
